2008 got off to a fantastic start playing in the RLPO (conducted by Clark Rundell) with Wayne Shorter and his Quartet!

The 2007 tour with Andy Scott's SaxAssault was just GREAT!
This is a top band that got better and better, night after night!

Many lasting impressions were left with me after visits to Wavendon JAZZ Summer schools, founded by John Dankworth.
Here I met and played with Don Rendell and Michael Garrick (at the piano)(circa 1982)


I also met Tony Coe at Wavendon and was really lucky to work with him in the Kendal Jazz Festival (1984)

In my role as director at RNCM, I have been fortunate to work with many great players, not least, John Dankworth (Oct 2000, photo Joan Cragg)
